What can I expect from a Krav Maga Induction?
When you arrive for your first night you will be given a quick introduction to the system and its principles. From there we get you started by integrating you into the class and teaching you some of the basics (This is important so that you don’t feel lost! ;) The instructor will guide you through the lesson making sure you quickly adapt to the class and by the end of your first session you’ll be ready to say I know a little Krav Maga!
Is there a membership fee?
Yes, all members pay a one off initial fee of £36 for membership with G-Krav. With this you will receive a club t-shirt, groin guard, one year insurance (just in case!) and exclusive access to IKMF run seminars which are held throughout the year.
What are the membership options?
We have two monthly membership options and a student’s membership. The first option is £45 per month and gives you the opportunity to train as many times as you like. The second option is £30 for training once a week. Students can train unlimited for £25 per month.
How many training sessions are open to unlimited members?
As a G-Krav member unlimited training gives you the option of training at all of our classes (currently 3 per week) but also gives you access to all other IKMF affiliated clubs across Scotland, giving you truly unlimited access to Krav Maga!
Is Krav Maga a martial art?
Krav Maga is a reality based fighting system for self defence. We teach only what has been proven to be effective in real life conflict situations, so there is no sport element to it
Do I have to be fit to take part?
No, Krav Maga is for everybody. As with all physical activities there is fitness work that you can approach at your own level to ensure you get the most from training. We suggest you go at your own pace and with training and help from the instructor you can get fitter and gain even more from your training!
Can I bring a friend?
Of course, everyone is welcome.
